Production Workshop

Production Workshop

Inspired by the fablab model, the workshop provides a space dedicated to the design, production, and testing of serious games. Using a range of tools and game components (boards, tiles, tokens), workshop users can bring their ideas to life by creating advanced prototypes as well as finalized small-scale editions of their games.

The workshop is equipped with the following tools and equipment:

  • Bambu Lab H2D Pro 3D printer for rapid prototyping and part manufacturing
  • Snapmaker Ray laser cutter for cutting and engraving wood (and other materials), particularly for producing tiles and game boards
  • Snapmaker A350T multifunction machine (3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC machining)
  • Laminator to improve the durability and protection of cards, game sheets, and facilitation materials
  • Silhouette Studio 4 cutting machine for automated cutting of paper and cardboard, particularly suited for card game production
  • Scroll saw for detailed woodwork and the creation of complex shapes
  • Painting and finishing equipment

The workshop welcomes a wide range of users, including students, researchers, and associations, within the framework of scientific or educational projects, always under the supervision and guidance of GAMAE members.
